Full Job Description

Description

The EAM System Administrator administers and configures the database and applications in the EAM and oversees implementation, database setup, security, maintenance, and customization.

Responsibilities

Managing
- EAM System administration and configuration modules.
- Workflow development and administration.
Maintaining
- EAM System organizational structure and application options.
- Chart of accounts.
- Application data fields and value list.
Administering
- Electronic auditing and signature security of record changes.
- EAM System linked documents.
- Change control process.
IT Support
- Communicating (translating) EAM System User issues and requests to appropriate IT support area; communicating and implementing solutions.
- Working with IT to apply, test and verify fixes/patches to EAM System.
- Supporting EAM System Upgrade Projects.
- Identifying and communicating EAM System defects to vendor and/or IT.
- Serving as primary contact person for EAM System Users and IT support.
Adding and modifying users and granting access to EAM System functionality.
Supporting database structure by creating and modifying tables and columns.
Creating and modifying work calendars and adjusting time periods (shifts).
Making basic modifications to EAM System screens using a screen editor.
Archiving and restoring data.
Developing and maintaining EAM System reports.
Running queries and creating ad hoc reports.
Monitoring EAM System performance.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
Coordinating user training.
Act as a liaison between vendor and EAM System Users for issue resolution.

Experience

SPECIFIC

BS in computer Science, Engineering or Business related field and /or equivalent work experience.
3 – 5 years business system analysis skills.

GENERAL

Proven ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization and to communicate effectively with department heads, managers, supervisors and clerical staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of MS Access, SQL and ODBC applications.
Demonstrated experience working with database applications.
Query and report writing experience.
Ability to run reports and validate data.
Passion to remain current with developments in advancing technologies.

PREFERRED

Three (3) years of EAM System Administrator experience.
Proficiency with – IBM Maximo Software Products.
Working knowledge of enterprise asset and work management processes.
Experience in application support / user help desks.
