Full Job Description

Master Bond is a high-tech adhesive manufacturer based in Hackensack, NJ. Our specialty epoxies and adhesives go into some of the most demanding applications in aerospace, electronics, medical devices, and other frontier technologies, and our audience is the industrial engineers designing them.

We are hiring a Content Marketing Lead to own strategizing, building, and managing content across formats (web, email, sponsored, video). You’ll be joining at an exciting moment as organic content becomes our main growth lever focused on demonstrating Master Bond’s unique expertise in adhesive chemistry. The role is perfect for someone who loves owning editorial end-to-end and wants to pair their creativity with analytical judgement around search demand. You’ll have the opportunity to turn technical chemical information into clear, search-optimized content for engineers (and AIs) who want to read. You will be reporting to the head of our marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Prioritization

Decide what to publish and where. Build a ranked content plan across formats (web, white papers, newsletters, video) and channels (our website and third-party), driven by search demand, competitive gaps, and business priority.
Identify keyword and topic opportunities through analysis of search data, product lines, and buyer intent, then translate them into a concrete production roadmap.
Measure what works. Track ranking, traffic, and lead outcomes.

Content Creation & SEO Optimization

Write and edit across formats: website content (product pages, technical resources, blog articles), white papers, newsletters, and video scripts, all aimed at an engineering audience.
Apply on-page SEO best practices: keyword usage, search intent, headings, metadata, and internal linking.
Balance SEO requirements with readability, technical accuracy, and brand voice.

Editing & Quality Control

Proofread and fact-check content for grammar, clarity, technical accuracy, and brand consistency before publication.
Manage multiple content projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing and Technical/Engineering teams to source expertise, close keyword gaps, and improve copy.
Collaborate with the team on search engine marketing, aligning content and landing pages with paid search campaigns.
Coordinate with external subject-matter experts on specialized content such as white papers and technical guides.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of copywriting, content writing, or editorial experience across formats.
Demonstrated ability to use search and performance data to prioritize content and defend those choices.
Working knowledge of SEO & AEO writing and on-page optimization.
Familiarity with common SEO & AEO analytics tools (such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs) and comfort using them to find opportunities and measure results.
Familiarity with HTML and web content management systems.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Background in science, engineering, or a technical field, helpful for translating complex product information.
Experience creating technical content (white papers, engineering guides) or writing for a B2B or industrial audience.
