Full Job Description

IvyCrest Montessori Private School is seeking a loving, nurturing and experienced Teacher Assistants for our Fullerton and Yorba Linda campuses. IvyCrest Montessori Private School is a private co-educational school established in 1970. We are located in the heart of north Orange County, CA. In addition to the rigorous academics and whole-child enrichment programs we provide during the school day, we offer a comprehensive School of the Arts programs for our children.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Implement policies, procedures and guidelines in accordance to school standards and Title 22 Licensing regulations.

· Provide positive support for all classrooms and teaching staff.

· Understands the developmental stages of children ages 0-3 or 3-6

· Respond promptly and appropriately to parent concerns.

· Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, directors, and families.

· Lead a loving and warm environment for children and staff.

· Engage in a fun, energetic, age- appropriate activities.

· Ensure the highest quality of customer service.

· Articulate in speaking and writing the English language and is responsible for writing daily reports, and documentation required for children and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

· Must have at least 12 units in early child development

Experience:

· 1+ years experience in a licensed child care facility as a teaching staff and or supervisory capacity.

Additional Requirements:

· Full time schedule is Monday- Friday, 8:30-5:30 (subject to change).

· Livescan and TB test must be completed upon offer of employment. MMR, TDap, COVID and Flu vaccines are required (State Licensing Requirement)

· Pediatric CPR/ First Aid Certified
