EDUCATIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE — ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS, COLLEGE MARKETS

ABOUT ARMOND DALTON PUBLISHING

Armond Dalton Publishing is an independent publisher of accounting textbooks and educational materials for colleges and universities. Our resources are built to give accounting students and their instructors a practical, rigorous learning experience. As we expand our reach, we're seeking a sharp, connected sales professional to help bring our materials to accounting departments across the country.

We're not just hiring a salesperson — we're looking for a long-term partner who understands the higher education landscape and is eager to grow with us. If you have deep roots in accounting education sales and the drive to work independently, this could be an exceptional opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build and manage relationships with accounting faculty, department chairs, and academic decision-makers at colleges and universities nationwide
Promote and sell Armond Dalton Publishing's accounting textbooks and course materials for adoption
Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting through contract and adoption
Leverage your existing network to generate early traction and referrals
Share market insights and faculty feedback to help shape our publishing direction
Represent Armond Dalton at accounting education conferences and events as appropriate

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Demonstrated experience selling to college and university accounting or business departments
An established network of contacts in higher education accounting programs
Solid grasp of how textbook adoptions and academic purchasing decisions work
Highly self-directed — comfortable owning your own pipeline with minimal oversight
Strong communicator who can build trust with faculty and administrators alike
Background in accounting or accounting education is a plus, but not required

COMPENSATION

We offer a flexible compensation structure designed to reward performance. We are open to a base plus commission arrangement to start, with a path toward fully performance-based pay as the partnership develops. Earning potential grows directly with your results — there is no cap.
