Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electro/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electro-mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience with various assembly techniques. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality electronic and mechanical products in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components and mechanical parts according to detailed schematics and technical drawings.
Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following IPC 610 standards.
Wire electrical systems using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and electrical wiring techniques.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component dimensions and electrical continuity.
Operate machining equipment and hand tools for mechanical assembly and modifications.
Conduct functional testing of assembled units to ensure operational integrity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement process improvements.

Experience

Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with PCB assembly processes, including surface mount technology (SMT) soldering.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and IPC 610 standards.
Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, soldering, and use of hand tools.
Mechanical knowledge including machining, use of calipers, power tools, and mechanical fasteners.
Electrical experience with testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
Strong attention to detail, precision skills, and adherence to quality standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety compliance. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about electro-mechanical systems who are eager to develop their skills further within a professional manufacturing setting.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
