Are you a creative, detail-oriented designer looking for an opportunity to work on exciting branding and exhibit projects? Embarq Creative is seeking a Full-Time Temporary Graphic Designer to help create compelling visuals for promotional products, trade show exhibits, branded merchandise, and marketing materials.
This is a full-time temporary position beginning in August and continuing through mid-October, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Create artwork for promotional products and branded merchandise
- Design trade show graphics, signage, and marketing collateral
- Create graphic templates for large-format exhibits, displays, and custom exhibit structures
- Preflight customer-supplied artwork to ensure files are production-ready and meet printing specifications
- Prepare accurate production-ready files for digital, offset, large-format, and specialty printing processes
- Edit and update existing customer artwork
- Work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers, and Production to ensure artwork is accurate and delivered on schedule
- Ensure projects meet brand standards and production requirements
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Assist with production support and other creative projects as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
- Experience preflighting artwork and preparing files for production
- Strong understanding of print production, bleeds, color modes, resolution, fonts, file packaging, and print specifications
- Strong layout, typography, and color skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with promotional products, print production, trade show exhibits, large-format graphics, or environmental graphics is highly preferred
- Experience creating graphic templates for exhibit systems, displays, or custom structures is a plus
- Hands-on production experience, including applying or laying vinyl graphics, is a plus
