Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to work with our client in New York, NY. In this role, you will be working at the NYS Office of the Attorney General.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review responses to comment letters and confirm requested changes.
Check seller disclosure forms for “yes” responses and escalate when further review is needed.
Review advertisements for compliance, including required disclosures.
Conduct first-line review of franchise filing amendments and communicate changes to examiners.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an office setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and comfort using web-based systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing disclosures.
Ability to multitask.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Law firm or business experience helpful but not required.

Pay rate range commensurate on experience.
