Marketing Specialist/Event Planner

Hideaway Steakhouse is an upscale steak and seafood restaurant in the north Denver metropolitan area (Westminster), combining the classic American Steakhouse with modern, contemporary cuisine and is in search of a qualified Administrative Specialist/Event Planner.

We are looking for a proactive, personable, organized Marketing Specialist/Event Planner.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting staff on a wide variety of duties, with a dedication to detail, organization, and quality of work. As part of a collaborative environment, success in this position requires motivation, interpersonal skills, a helpful mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Administrative:

* Handle incoming phone calls
* High-level of expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
* Basic In Design skills are highly preferred
* Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
* Ability to multi task and prioritize work
* Team Player
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate superior time management skills, always completing duties accurately and efficiently
* Assisting w/ special projects and other duties as assigned to assure efficient operation of the team, customer needs are met, and business results are achieved
* Keen attention to detail, organized and able to seamlessly multitask
* Adaptable to changing priorities and anticipating tasks
* Creative thinking
* Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient

Event Planning:

* Serve as our initial point of contact for our private events
* Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
* Schedule and maintain private events
* Great Interpersonal and communication skills
* Good time-management skills
* Understand requirements and details of each private event
* Understand clients' needs and wants
* Plan and organize events with attention to financial and time constraints
