About the Role

We're looking for a top performing Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of and scale our residential pest control sales force across Southwest Florida. You won't be starting from scratch: we already have a small team in place across two branches, and we're looking for the right leader to grow it. Your job is to own this D2D sales department, level up the people already here, and grow it into multiple thriving branches across Southwest Florida.

One thing to be upfront about, because it matters most: this is a field role, every single day. You will be in the field across your branches, knocking, coaching live on the doors, and selling when time allows. If your idea of "manager" is running teams from behind a desk, a vehicle, or a Zoom screen, this likely isn't the right fit. The leaders who win here lead from the front, on the doors, daily, and they love doing it.

Just as important: you have to be able to actually sell, not just talk about it. Your reps and your team lead will earn respect by watching you close, not by hearing you describe how it's done. If you can lead from the front and put up numbers on the doors yourself, they'll follow you anywhere. If you can talk a big game but can't back it up in the field, they'll see through it fast and they won't listen to you. This role only works if you can do the job you're coaching.

This is a builder's role on a real foundation: you'll develop the reps and team lead you inherit, recruit and grow new teams, implement systems, and own your territory. The faster and better you grow, the faster your income scales.

This is not a capped role, and it's not a title to coast on. It's for a leader who wants ownership, influence, big upside, and who genuinely loves being out there doing the work.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the existing D2D sales department: the current team across two branches, and the small team already in place
Be in the field across your branches every day, leading from the front, on the doors, setting the standard you expect from your teams
Sell personally and close in front of your reps and team lead; they earn respect for you by seeing you do it, not hearing about it
Develop the people you inherit, then recruit, train, and grow new reps and branch level leaders, and hold them accountable
Coach live, in the field, in real time, not from a report or a meeting room
Own all territory performance: volume, churn, close rates, velocity across every branch
Lead daily field meetings and ride alongs across your branches
Collaborate with the exec team to shape and expand growth strategy
Maintain a culture of ethical, honest selling
Roll out processes, technology, and systems as the territory grows
Recruit, train, and manage sales reps to hit and exceed KPIs
Own all team performance: volume, churn, close rates, velocity
Lead daily field meetings and coach live in-market
Collaborate with exec team to shape and expand growth strategy
Maintain a culture of ethical, honest selling
Roll out processes, technology, and systems as the team grows

Who This Role Is NOT For

Let's save each other time. This probably isn't your role if you:

Want the title and the pay but not the daily work of the field
Plan to manage primarily from a desk, a vehicle, or behind a screen
Can talk about selling but can't actually close on the doors yourself
Have never personally built or managed a door to door team
See knocking and live coaching as beneath a manager
Are looking to step back from selling rather than lead by doing it

Compensation Structure

Base Salary

Top managers can earn well over $200K+ annually based on rep volume and retention. The faster you build a high-output, low-churn team — the more you earn.

Ideal Background

4+ years personally managing a door to door sales team, which is not negotiable for this role (pest control strongly preferred)
A genuine love of being on the doors and leading from the front, also not negotiable
A proven personal closing ability; your teams will follow you because they've watched you sell, not because of your title
Proven ability to develop existing people, build new teams, and hold everyone accountable
Track record of coaching reps to consistent high output, in the field
Highly coachable, competitive, and ethical
Hungry for a clear path to executive leadership
Bonus: prior pest control, solar, alarms, or HVAC sales experience
Education: High school diploma or GED required

Requirements

Reliable transportation to and from the office, every day
Willingness and ability to be in the field daily, on the doors, in all conditions
