Full Job Description

We are an award-winning fine dining restaurant group located in Jacksonville, FL. We are currently looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team and bring leadership and culinary guidance to help grow one of our established restaurants. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Sous Chef or Chef d’ Cuisine with a background of at least 5 years in fine dining and formal culinary education. You will be required to help lead an efficient kitchen by consistently exceeding guest expectations through the production of quality food, creating seasonal menus, and working closely with restaurant management and ownership to achieve the experience expectations of the restaurant.

Job Details

Role: Executive Sous Chef/Ched d’ Cuisine

Reporting to: Executive Chef and Ownership

The Executive Sous Chef reports directly to the Executive Chef and Ownership. The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for all culinary activities for the restaurant. This position will oversee all activity in the kitchen including but not limited to training personnel, planning menus, scheduling, overseeing product purchasing, ensuring compliance with all health regulations, and managing the culinary budget. The Executive Sous Chef serves as a role model and mentor to the other chefs and line cooks. They must maintain a professional working environment, present a professional image, communicate well, and be able to motivate fellow employees to meet and exceed expectations.
