Full Job Description

Latitude is seeking an experienced biotech commercial contracts attorney to assist a leading biopharmaceutical company on a part-time engagement basis. The company is specifically focused on research and development in gene therapy treatments. Interested candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience both at a law firm and in-house handling all types of biotech agreements, including R&D contracts and clinical trial agreements. This is a fully remote position.

Requirements for the Biotech Commercial Contracts Attorney:

5+ years of experience at a law firm and in-house
Experience handling all types of biotech agreement, including R&D contracts and clinical trial agreements
Licensed to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar
Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Outstanding references

Position Details of the Biotech Commercial Contracts Attorney:

Type of Role: Engagement
Schedule: Part-time (20-25 hrs/week)
Location: Remote

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
