We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Estimator to join our growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Scaffolding Estimator to support our industrial and commercial projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for scaffolding scopes of work. Your expertise will directly impact project success by ensuring precise budgets, strong bid submissions, and effective project planning.
This position is ideal for someone with hands-on scaffolding knowledge and a deep understanding of construction estimating processes, who thrives on technical accuracy and collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and scope requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for scaffolding work
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and labor projections
- Develop conceptual estimates and project budgets
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure scope coverage
- Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and project planning sessions
- Apply production rates and cost data using D2 estimating templates
- Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
- Identify and document discrepancies, omissions, or risks in project documents
- Utilize RFI processes when required to clarify scope or missing details
- Review subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain complete and organized bid documentation and project records
- Establish project cost structures, including overhead and profit as required
- Ensure all estimates align with company standards, safety requirements, and project goals
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you bring strong scaffolding expertise and a commitment to precision and quality.
Qualifications include:
- Proven experience in scaffolding estimating (industrial and/or commercial)
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and project controls
- Hands-on knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and installation methods
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Viewpoint and Sutor Soft estimating tools preferred
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
