The Opportunity
- Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
- Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
- Providers must be local to area.Must be open to evening shifts.
- New grads welcome to apply.
- Current FL state license is a plus.
The Practice
Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast – Miramar Beach, Florida
- Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast is a critical care, full-service hospital, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center.
- 76-bed community hospital with 8 open-ICU beds and 23 ED beds.
- 22,000 annual patient volume, approximately 50-55 encounters per day per hospitalist, and 6-12 encounters per day per hospitalist.
- No procedures required; vent management with intensivist help.
- Recipient of 5-star ratings on 2024 CMS overall hospitals, several 2023 PRC Excellence In Health Care awards, and one of America's Best Maternity Care Hospitals.
