We are looking for several people with a positive attitude to join and grow with our team! We have shifts available on Saturday and Sunday mornings, as well as Monday through Wednesday afternoons. There are openings for cooks and burrito makers at our taqueria locations in Berkeley and Albany.

Job Summary, Duties, and Responsibilities: Cooks are responsible for opening the taqueria early in the morning and beginning the preparation of large batches of ingredients for the day. They must set up the hot stations for the opening team and maintain a clean workspace while working. Burrito makers interact directly with customers to prepare their orders; they also handle online and phone orders..

All employees will work under the supervision of the Team Lead and the General Manager. They will be responsible for adhering to Gordo’s work processes and procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area and dining room, promoting menu items, and—most importantly—ensuring that every Gordo customer leaves having had the best possible experience.

Compensation: $27- $ 28 per hour (Starting base pay is $21. All employees also earn an average of $6.25 per hour in tips in addition to base pay.
