Pay: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Job description: Financial Literacy Associate

Work Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We are expanding and looking for motivated, people-focused individuals who are interested in learning the financial services industry and helping clients better understand their financial options.

This role is a good fit for someone who is professional, coachable, and interested in developing a long-term career in financial education and client service. Prior financial services experience is not required.

As a Financial Literacy Associate, you will receive training and mentorship from experienced licensed professionals. You will learn how to educate individuals and families on foundational financial concepts and assist with conversations related to protection planning, retirement planning, college planning, debt management, and long-term financial preparedness.

This position is designed with flexibility in mind. Many individuals begin part-time while completing training, licensing, and learning the client process. This role may continue as a part-time opportunity long term, or it may grow into a full-time career path for someone who wants to expand their involvement, client base, and leadership opportunities over time.

Responsibilities:

Learn foundational financial concepts and client education strategies
Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development 
Help individuals and families better understand available financial options
Work with clients to understand their goals and current financial situation 
Support clients through the planning and implementation process
Build and maintain professional client relationships through communication and follow-up 
Maintain professionalism, organization, and follow-through with clients and team members

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills
Professional and positive attitude 
Coachable and willing to learn
Strong work ethic and ability to follow a structured training process 
Comfortable working with people and discussing financial goals
Ability to manage some of your own schedule and daily activities 
Background in customer service, sales, education, coaching, hospitality, real estate, retail, restaurant, leadership, or similar fields is helpful but not required
