Full Job Description

Infrastructure Project Manager (Contract-to-Hire)

Our customer in Conshohocken, PA is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support a high volume of operational and infrastructure initiatives within a collaborative enterprise IT environment. This role will manage multiple concurrent projects while partnering closely with technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate is a traditional project manager with a strong infrastructure background who thrives in operational environments and can confidently partner with senior leadership to drive accountability, prioritize work, and provide visibility into project progress.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple infrastructure and operational technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risk logs, status reports, and project documentation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure engineers, systems administrators, networking teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Track project deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.
Facilitate project meetings and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Support infrastructure initiatives including server deployments, endpoint management, Intune implementations, database projects, cloud migrations, office technology upgrades, and operational improvements.
Drive project governance, documentation, and change management while ensuring adherence to established project management standards.
Partner closely with leadership to assist with project prioritization, operational planning, and organizational reporting.
Build strong relationships with technical teams and business leaders while serving as a trusted advisor throughout project execution.

Qualifications

5+ years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience.
Proven experience managing infrastructure, operations, migration, or enterprise technology projects.
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including servers, databases, networking, cloud platforms, endpoint management, and enterprise IT operations.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, influence teams, and effectively support senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Infrastructure modernization and cloud migration projects.
Microsoft Intune or endpoint management initiatives.
Business continuity or disaster recovery projects.
Budget tracking, forecasting, and financial oversight.
Experience supporting executive leadership and operational planning.
