About Us

SGT Claims (SgtCare) is a veteran-focused medical organization dedicated to helping veterans access high-quality medical evaluations, clinical documentation, and support resources as they navigate complex health and disability-related challenges.

Founded by veterans and veteran advocates, our mission is simple: Veterans Helping Veterans.

We recognize that many veterans struggle to obtain timely access to qualified medical professionals who understand military service, service-related conditions, and the unique challenges faced by those who have served. Our goal is to bridge that gap by building a nationwide network of experienced providers who are passionate about serving the veteran community.

As our organization continues to expand nationally, we are actively seeking qualified licensed psychologists to join our growing provider network and assist veterans through comprehensive telehealth mental health evaluations.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and highly professional Licensed Psychologists to conduct comprehensive telehealth psychological evaluations for military veterans throughout the United States.

This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy diagnostic assessment work, clinical interviewing, psychological evaluation, and report writing, but who do not wish to maintain a traditional ongoing therapy caseload.

Unlike many traditional clinical positions, this role is focused primarily on assessment and evaluation rather than long-term treatment. Providers maintain complete independence regarding their clinical findings, diagnoses, opinions, and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating trauma-related conditions and will be comfortable conducting comprehensive telehealth assessments while producing clear, well-supported clinical documentation.

Primary Areas of Evaluation

Providers may evaluate veterans presenting with:

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Anxiety Disorders
Major Depressive Disorder
Adjustment Disorders
Trauma-Related Conditions
Sleep Disturbances
Mood Disorders
Military Service-Related Mental Health Concerns
Other behavioral health and psychological conditions as clinically appropriate

Responsibilities

As part of our provider network, psychologists may be responsible for:

Conducting comprehensive telehealth psychological evaluations
Performing detailed clinical interviews
Reviewing relevant medical records and supporting documentation
Assessing PTSD and trauma-related conditions
Evaluating mental health symptoms and functional impairments
Establishing diagnoses where clinically appropriate
Applying accepted psychological assessment principles and standards
Preparing clear, comprehensive, and professionally written reports
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Participating in occasional provider consultations and case discussions
Exercising independent clinical judgment in all evaluations and findings

Providers are expected to maintain the highest professional and ethical standards while delivering compassionate, veteran-centered care.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

Active unrestricted Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD)
PsyPact Authority
Excellent clinical interviewing skills
Strong diagnostic and assessment experience
Exceptional written communication and report-writing abilities
Experience working independently in a remote environment
Strong understanding of trauma-related conditions and military culture

Highly Desired Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Military and veteran populations
PTSD evaluations
Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs)
Disability evaluations
Compensation & Pension (C&P) style examinations
Forensic psychology
Psychological testing and assessment
Medical opinion development
Nexus opinion writing
DBQ familiarity
Clinical record review
Telehealth evaluations

While not required, prior experience serving veterans or military populations is highly valued.

Compensation

Compensation is structured on a per-evaluation and/or per-report basis.

Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process and may vary based on experience, credentials, state licensure, PsyPact participation, and evaluation scope.
