Job Overview
We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to join AutoCheckPro as a Co-Founder / Head of Insurance Partnerships — Claims Events, APD Pilots & DRP Strategy.
In this pivotal role, you will help lead AutoCheckPro’s insurance go-to-market strategy with a focus on claims events, auto physical damage claims, direct repair program gaps, carrier pilot programs, and licensing agreements.
AutoCheckPro is building a risk-free repair-routing platform for auto claims departments that do not have strong Direct Repair Program coverage. Our model gives claims teams a no-cost way to test competitive repair routing using vetted, insured technicians and shops. The claims department keeps final routing authority, AutoCheckPro tracks key KPIs, and if the pilot proves savings and operational value, the pilot converts into a paid licensing agreement.
AutoCheckPro has already shown strong early traction, including 20+ early repair transactions, a growing network of 1,800+ technicians, an iOS app already live, and an early savings signal approaching 40% versus regular repair pricing.
We believe AutoCheckPro has the potential to become a market-disrupting company in the auto insurance claims space by helping claims departments reduce repair costs, improve cycle times, increase repair-routing options, and create a more efficient alternative for markets where traditional DRP coverage is limited.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a co-founder-level insurance operator with experience in claims events, APD, DRP strategy, carrier partnerships, claims-tech sales, or insurance innovation to help build a new category in claims repair routing.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of AutoCheckPro’s insurance claims go-to-market strategy.
Help identify and approach auto claims departments, APD leaders, innovation teams, vendor management teams, and carriers without strong DRP coverage.
Build and execute a claims-event strategy for events such as Connected Claims, PLRB Claims Conference, ITC Vegas, CLM, Insurtech Insights, and similar carrier-facing insurance events.
Turn claims-event conversations into qualified follow-up meetings, pilot-fit calls, pilot scopes, signed pilot agreements, and licensing opportunities.
Help position AutoCheckPro’s pilot as a no-cost, risk-controlled way for claims departments to test a new repair-routing model using vetted, insured technicians and shops.
Help structure APD pilot programs around repair-cost savings, cycle time, provider response, repair quality, claims-team feedback, and workflow discipline.
Help define the risk controls claims departments need to feel comfortable testing the AutoCheckPro model, including proof of insurance, provider vetting, workmanship standards, repair-quality processes, re-repair obligations, and dispute pathways.
Collaborate with the founder to prepare demo strategy, website positioning, pitch decks, event outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and carrier-facing pilot materials.
Help navigate carrier stakeholders, including claims leadership, APD, innovation, vendor management, procurement, legal, and operations.
Help convert successful pilots into paid licensing agreements, platform revenue, and potential multi-market or enterprise expansion.
Qualifications
Proven experience in insurance claims, claims technology, auto physical damage, DRP strategy, carrier partnerships, or enterprise insurance sales.
Strong understanding of how insurance carriers evaluate new claims technology, pilot programs, repair networks, or vendor solutions.
Experience with claims events such as Connected Claims, PLRB Claims Conference, ITC Vegas, CLM, Insurtech Insights, or similar insurance industry events is strongly preferred.
Proven success turning carrier-facing events into meetings, pipeline, pilots, partnerships, contracts, or revenue is highly preferred.
Knowledge of auto physical damage workflows, repair networks, DRP pain points, claims operations, repair-cost control, cycle time, supplements, and provider performance is a major plus.
Experience working with claims/APD leaders, innovation teams, vendor management, procurement, or senior insurance executives.
Ability to help structure no-cost, risk-controlled pilot programs with clear KPIs and a path to licensing.
Strong strategic thinking, business development ability, executive communication, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup environment where the role requires strategy, execution, ownership, and direct buyer engagement.
Compensation & Equity
This is a co-founder-track opportunity.
Compensation is equity-based until funding or licensing revenue is secured. Equity is KPI-based and earned through measurable contribution.
We are open to discussing different equity packages for the right candidate. Stronger or customized equity packages may be available for candidates with proven claims-event success, strong carrier relationships, APD/DRP expertise, and a demonstrated ability to help secure pilot agreements or licensing revenue.
Potential equity range is 2%–11%, depending on experience, relationships, execution ability, and milestones achieved. However, we are open to negotiating the right structure for an exceptional candidate who can clearly accelerate AutoCheckPro’s path to carrier pilots, licensing agreements, and market expansion.
Possible milestones include building a qualified claims/APD buyer pipeline, securing carrier discovery meetings, securing pilot-fit calls, helping close signed pilot agreements, converting pilots into paid licensing agreements, and supporting multi-market or enterprise rollout.
We are not offering large upfront equity for promises. Equity is earned through execution, but we are flexible and open to building a package that rewards the right person for real value creation.
