Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Front Desk Associate serves as the welcoming face of Xcel Padel, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for all members and guests. This role supports daily front desk operations including check-ins, court bookings, program sign-ups, and retail transactions. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Services & Guest Experience

- Greet all members and visitors warmly and professionally
- Check in members and assist with program or court reservations
- Provide accurate information about memberships, classes, events, and amenities
- Answer phone and email inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff
- Assist members with resolving minor account or scheduling questions
- Promote club programs, lessons, and membership upgrades at the point of contact
- Collect and document member feedback and relay it to management
- Support events by assisting with merchandise, giveaways, or court logistics
- Help manage loaner gear (rackets, balls, etc.) and return process

Operational Support

- Use POS system to handle retail purchases, F&B transactions, and payments
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk, lobby, and reception area
- Support front desk opening and closing procedures
- Replenish merchandise displays and track low inventory
- Assist with event and tournament check-in processes
- Monitor club access to ensure only authorized individuals enter
- Perform periodic walkthroughs of lobby and court
-view areas for cleanliness and safety
- Report facility maintenance issues to management promptly

Administrative Support

- Assist with filing waivers, updating member information, and processing new registrations
- Maintain accurate shift logs and handover notes for continuity
- Support membership sales efforts and administrative tracking as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail preferred
- Comfortable using scheduling or POS systems (training provided)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Interest in padel, fitness, or wellness is a bonus
- Must be available for morning (7 AM start) OR evening (until 10 PM close)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
