About Yampah

Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves is unlike anything else in North America. We're home to the continent's only natural hot mineral vapor caves — a sacred, ancient space rooted in indigenous healing traditions and reimagined as a world-class wellness destination in the heart of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

We're growing, and we're looking for a right-hand leader to help us get there.

The Role

We're hiring an Assistant General Manager to serve as the operational backbone of Yampah — the person who makes things happen every single day. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role with real responsibility. You'll work directly alongside the General Manager, own all day-to-day operations, drive projects from start to finish, and be the bridge between our leadership team and our staff.

If you're the kind of leader who runs toward problems instead of away from them, who's equally comfortable with a spreadsheet and a conversation on the spa floor — this role was built for you.

What You'll Own

All daily operations: scheduling, guest flow, team coverage, and facility standards
Project management from kickoff to completion — services, systems, campaigns, and facility upgrades
Team development: hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance accountability
Guest experience oversight across every touchpoint
Financial reporting, KPI tracking, and cost management in partnership with the GM
OSHA compliance, safety protocols, and vendor relationships

What We're Looking For

5+ years in hospitality, spa, wellness, or multi-department operations management
Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Strong project management skills — you finish what you start
Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic analytics
High emotional intelligence; direct communicator with a warm presence
Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
Passion for wellness, people, and doing things the right way
