Full Job Description

Job Description for Escrow Funder

Escrow Funder is a full-time position responsible for balancing and funding the closed real estate transaction, in accordance with state department of insurance regulations and company policies and procedures.

Job Duties:

Review the closed file and work with settlement to ensure all funds have been collected and posted.
Verify incoming and outgoing wire information.
Analyze files for discrepancies prior to disbursement.
Accurately disburse funds from closed transactions, in accordance with closing instructions and company policies and procedures.
Ensure all required documents have been received and posted to file.
Check that all invoices in the file have correct payee and amounts, and all necessary approvals have been received prior to disbursement.
Coordinate with lenders and parties to obtain funding approval.
Communicate with parties to the transaction regarding disbursement of funds
Prepare lender closing packages in accordance with closing instructions.
Submit documents from closing for recording.
Complete other job-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills We Require:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years of title insurance, banking, or mortgage industry experience.
Proficiency with title production software.
Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to exceed in a high-volume environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Attention to detail.
