Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented ISO (Independent Sales Organization) Representative specializing in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) funding to join our team as a Direct Funder. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison between our organization and merchant clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving business growth. Your expertise in financial services, risk management, and relationship management will be essential to facilitate seamless funding processes, uphold regulatory standards, and foster long-term client partnerships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the success of our merchant funding initiatives through proactive engagement and meticulous oversight.

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for merchant clients, guiding them through the MCA funding process with professionalism and clarity.
Ensure all transactions comply with applicable regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and other relevant compliance standards.
Conduct thorough credit analysis and underwriting to assess merchant eligibility, cash flow stability, and risk factors.
Negotiate terms with merchants to optimize funding opportunities while maintaining adherence to company policies and risk appetite.
Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts, monitoring ongoing performance, repayment schedules, and risk exposure.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities and expand existing client relationships through effective customer relationship management strategies.
Utilize financial software tools for loan processing, financial analysis, and cash flow assessment to support decision-making.
Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and industry relationship building within the financial services sector.

Skills

Strong understanding of banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and AML compliance requirements.
Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals effectively while managing risk.
Proficiency in underwriting processes, credit analysis, and financial concepts such as cash flow analysis and financial acumen.
Experience in portfolio management, risk management, and loan processing within financial services or banking environments.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with relationship management expertise to foster trust and loyalty.
Ability to analyze complex financial data accurately using financial software tools; adept at math and financial analysis techniques.
Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, internal teams, and external partners across diverse channels.
