JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for an Animator to join our global game studio team to provide world-class animations for slot games. This is an exciting role for an all-rounder that requires a combination of creative excellence and technical expertise. Our ideal candidate is focused on delivering awesome work quickly using spine, unity, and other animation packages.
You are detail focused and committed to problem solving with our team of artists, game mathematicians, and developers. You are focused on continual improvement ensuring the smooth creation and implementation of best in class animations and must effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and switch between creative and technical conversations.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of animation principles, tools and how to deliver high-quality game 2D animations with a strong focus on delivering optimized assets using both Spine and Unity software. While this role is primarily 2D, 3D animation would be a big plus.
Experience with Spine is a requirement
Proven understanding of animation principles is a requirement
Experience with online and or land-based games will be highly regarded
Experience animating directly in Unity is highly regarded

b. Ensure the consistency of our existing style
c. Keep an organized and efficient workflow
Animation Principles: Apply your excellent understanding of animation principles, such as timing, spacing, and anticipation, to create visually engaging and immersive animations.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience
Proven experience as an animator with a focus on 2D animations.
Expertise in Spine software with the ability to create optimized animations.
Strong understanding of animation principles.
Must have Adobe Creative Suite experience including Photoshop as a key element of workflow, and a good understanding of After Effects.
Proficiency in Unity is highly regarded.
Experience with FX motion graphics and particle animations is a plus.
3D animation capabilities are highly regarded.
Experience animating casino slot games.
Strong communication skills in English.
A Strong portfolio showing strong 2D Art Foundations and Animation skills
