Full Job Description

JOB Marana is one of the fastest-growing communities in Southern Arizona, located approximately 20 minutes northwest of downtown Tucson and 75 minutes southeast of Phoenix. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES The Town of Marana is seeking a Maintenance Associate I to work in the Streets Division of the Public Works Department. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in a fast-paced environment. The Public Works Department provides services that are vital to our community’s health, safety and comfort.

Normal Work Hours: 6:00 – 4:30 4 days a week with mandatory rotating on-call

Expected Hiring Range: $17.87/hour – $21.89/hour

placement within the salary range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget

Salary Range: $17.87/hour – $25.91/hour
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Six (6) months of street construction/maintenance experience or closely related field.
Valid Arizona Driver License.
Must complete a pre-employment physical including an audiogram and pass a 50-pound lift test.
Must complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
