Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Electrician and become a vital part of maintaining and enhancing our Client's industrial facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. We’re looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to apply their technical skills to real-world challenges. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to complex renovations, all while adhering to safety standards and electrical codes.

Duties

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including control wiring and 480 volt wiring on industrial equipment and machinery.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes within manufacturing lines.
Assist with construction activities including renovation projects, and general maintenance tasks related to electrical installations.
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), safety standards, and local regulations pertaining to systems.
Read blueprints and schematics accurately to plan wiring layouts for new installations or upgrades.
Requirements
Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading.
Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new installations in industrial environments.
Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and programming tasks.
Familiarity with NEC standards.
Strong knowledge of schematics interpretation, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation related to electrical systems.
Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects is highly desirable.
Capable of reading blueprints accurately and translating them into practical wiring solutions.
Ability to troubleshooting diverse issues across multiple trades is advantageous.
Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces while maintaining safety protocols.
