Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Part-Time Graphic Designer (Independent Contractor – Marketing & Direct Mail) to join our innovative marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling visual content that elevates brand presence across multiple channels. As a key contributor, you will bring ideas to life through engaging digital and print designs, supporting our marketing campaigns and direct mail initiatives. This position is perfect for a motivated designer eager to make a tangible impact while working flexibly on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

Develop eye-catching graphics for digital marketing campaigns, social media, email newsletters, and website content using industry-standard graphic design software.
Create compelling print materials such as brochures, flyers, postcards, and direct mail pieces that align with brand standards and campaign goals.
Produce motion graphics and video content utilizing tools like Adobe After Effects and video editing software to support multimedia campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize visual strategies, ensuring alignment with overall branding and campaign objectives.
Prepare design files for print production, managing color accuracy, layout specifications, and prepress requirements for seamless printing processes.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards in all deliverables.

Requirements

Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital art, print design, branding, and motion graphics.
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, Sketch, Figma, InVision, and other relevant tools.
Knowledge of web development basics such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress content management systems, and UI/UX principles.
Strong understanding of color theory, typography design for media, layout design, and print production processes including prepress and color management.
Ability to create engaging visual content for various platforms while maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to team members and clients.
Technical proficiency in photo editing, photo manipulation, video editing, sign manufacturing processes, and content management systems is a plus.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills; capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
