Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Active clearance preferred.

We also have an office in Layton, Utah. The suitable candidate will be expected to work on site in Irvine or Layton, UT

Job Requirements

The Program Manager must demonstrate aptitude for planning, coordinating, and directing teams to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives. The position requires the capability to provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures, including close coordination with Quality Assurance and Configuration Management.

The selected candidate must possess the ability to develop project schedules, cost accounting plans, and other technical documentation for hardware and software projects, such as requirements specifications, Concept of Operations, and Basis of Estimate documentation.

This position is also responsible for Project Management tasks, including the coordination of detailed project plans across multiple groups, development of comprehensive program plans, and technical coordination across hardware and software teams. The Program Manager ensures all contract deliverables meet the contract specifications. Responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating project team meetings, interacting with customers, attending technical interchange meetings, coordinating and facilitating design review presentations, and collecting and consolidating status data for inclusion in Program Management Reviews.

The Program Manager must consistently serve as a role model for subordinate employees, motivate the workforce, provide constructive criticism, and communicate organizational goals, objectives, and policies effectively. A positive customer service orientation is essential, along with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with site support personnel. The Program Manager must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when working with senior program customers and military personnel. Excellent decision-making abilities, people management skills, and the capability to interface with all levels of functional and program management are required.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on performance or business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of MS Project required
Five (5+) program and/or project management experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance or closely a related field.
Knowledge and experience with financial and schedule management process and tools, and contract terms/conditions.
Strong presentation and analytical skills
Ability to adhere to requirements for Federal Contractors
Proficiency in Microsoft toolset including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project is a plus.
System Integration experience and knowledge
Master's degree in a related field is a plus
