Job Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, managing site operations, and ensuring project success. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate excavation, material transport, and site development. Your mechanical expertise and construction site experience will drive efficiency and safety on every project. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are eager to contribute to impactful construction endeavors.

Responsibilities
Operate a range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader to perform tasks such as grading, digging, lifting, and material movement. Ensure safe and efficient handling of equipment on-site by adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines. Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing land, leveling surfaces, and setting foundations for structures. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs or repairs before issues arise. Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks smoothly and meet project timelines. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance records, and operational reports to support project documentation.

Qualifications
Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues on machinery like Caterpillar equipment or similar brands. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and site protocols. Valid driver’s license with experience driving heavy vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, or farm machinery would be useful, but not necessary. Knowledge of operating specialized equipment such as concrete mixers or tanker units is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness.
