Full Job Description

A great UHY client is seeking a Manager, Global Consolidations and Financial Reporting to join their team. This role will lead global consolidation processes, oversee financial reporting, and serve as a technical accounting resource across the organization while driving consistency, accuracy, and compliance in a complex, publicly traded environment.

The Manager, Global Consolidations and Financial Reporting role is a hybrid position based in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a permanent opportunity offering strong upward mobility, leadership responsibility, and high visibility within a global organization, with the ability to partner closely with senior leadership and influence key accounting initiatives.

Manager, Global Consolidations and Financial Reporting Responsibilities

Lead global consolidation processes and oversee financial reporting activities across multiple entities
Manage and mentor a team of two direct reports while driving performance and development
Serve as a technical accounting resource, supporting complex areas including revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and cash flow reporting
Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and ensure compliance with public company and SEC reporting requirements
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate accounting implications of business activities and transactions
Support and enhance SOX controls and internal control environment
Lead efforts to update and maintain the company’s accounting policy manual and disseminate technical guidance across the organization
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation and reporting
Assist in implementation and interpretation of new accounting standards
Manage data flow and activity within consolidation systems (e.g., Oracle, HFM, OneStream)
Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes as needed

Manager, Global Consolidations and Financial Reporting Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA required
Public company experience required
10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
Strong background in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX controls
Experience with complex accounting topics such as revenue recognition, leases, and cash flow required
Prior leadership or management experience required
Experience with OneStream, HFM, or similar consolidation systems preferred
Background in Big 4 or large public accounting firm strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills and a career-driven, motivated mindset with desire for advancement
