Full Job Description

Job Overview
Atlantis University is seeking a dynamic, highly organized and experienced University Registrar to lead the administration of academic records, registration processes, and student data management. This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation of the institution’s academic services, maintaining accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of student information.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education administration, and experience working closely with students and faculty to foster an efficient academic environment. As a key figure in the university’s administrative framework, you will champion transparency, integrity, and excellence in all registrar functions. The candidate will combine deep knowledge of academic records management with a forward-thinking approach to digital systems, data analytics, and student information technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the registration process for all students, including new and returning students.
Schedule classes and ensure that all courses are properly staffed and taught.
Maintain accurate academic records, including grades and transcripts, for all students.
Monitor student progress and academic standing, and provide support and guidance as needed.
Coordinate with academic departments to ensure that all programs and courses are in
compliance with university policies and regulations.
Oversee the maintenance and security of student records, and ensure that all records are kept confidential.
Collaborate with other university offices, such as financial aid and admissions, to ensure that student records are accurate and up-to-date.procedures.
Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, and students on matters related to academic policies and
Manage and lead a team of administrative staff responsible for supporting the registrar's office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education or business administration.
Several years of experience working in higher education, with a focus on academic
administration.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of academic policies and regulations, and the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
Experience working with student records management systems and databases.
Ability to work collaboratively with other university offices and departments.
Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting student records.
Proven experience in education administration or university registrarial functions with a strong understanding of academic policies and procedures.
Familiarity with registration management systems such as Ellucian Banner or equivalent enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
Exceptional public speaking skills to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, and external agencies in a collaborative environment.
Prior experience in university settings or higher education institutions is highly desirable.
Knowledge of recruiting strategies related to student enrollment processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for managing large volumes of data accurately.
Ability to adapt quickly to technological advancements in education administration tools.
