TaskForce is on a mission to bring hope, support, and transformative solutions to the most vulnerable members of our community. We are seeking compassionate, driven individuals to join our outreach services team in Broward County, Florida. This role is not just a job—it's an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of people who need it most, including those facing homelessness, mental health and substance-use challenges, and more.

Your Role as an Outreach Specialist on a Multi-Disciplinary Team:

On the Ground Impact: You will navigate the streets of Broward County, venturing into alleys, fields, beaches, airports, and other unconventional spaces to connect with individuals experiencing homelessness. Your mission is to offer hope and practical assistance where it's needed most.
Engage and Empathize: Your ability to engage with a wide range of populations—including veterans, the elderly, people with physical disabilities, and individuals transitioning from jails and institutions—is critical. You'll approach each interaction with empathy, understanding, and a readiness to help.
Assess and Assist: Leveraging your training, experience, and innate common sense, you'll assess the housing and supportive service needs of each individual. Your goal is to address their immediate concerns and guide them towards long-term solutions.
Problem-Solving: Armed with excellent decision-making skills and an independent work ethic, you'll navigate complex situations with ease. Your role is pivotal in solving the challenges faced by those you serve, requiring both creativity and practicality.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: While autonomy is key, so is your ability to collaborate effectively with your teammates and other service providers. Together, you will forge pathways out of homelessness and into hope and stability.
