Full Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive company in Alpharetta, GA in their search for an HRBP/HR Manager. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity which requires 100% in-office work. Only candidates who live in the metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, USA (preferably North Atlanta) area will be considered since in-office work is required.

Responsibilities:

Partner with leadership on workforce planning, hiring strategies, and organizational needs
Must be comfortable managing hands-on HR responsibilities as well as building the infrastructure
Process bi-weekly payroll
Administer & oversee benefits, compensation and leave programs
Oversee personnel policies & procedures, updating the Employee Handbook as needed
Maintain HR compliance on federal, state & local levels
Implement strategies for recruiting, retention and succession planning in collaboration with leadership
Oversee talent acquisition including job posting, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding
Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees
Work with managers on employee relations issues and provide training, as needed
Identify areas of improvement and provide training

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business or HR preferred with Certication
Must have at least 5 years of HR management experience preferably as a standalone HR lead
Experience in payroll, recruiting, compliance and general HR responsibilities is REQUIRED
Must have familiarity with employment law and compliance
Preferred experience in small company setting
Must be a team player with strong collaborative skills
Must possess strong problem-solving skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
