Job Summary:
The Pool Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of residential and/or commercial swimming pools and related equipment. This role ensures pools are safe, clean, properly balanced, and operating efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other required treatments.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate recommendations to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous pool maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of pool chemistry, equipment, and water treatment systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical pool equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial pool operations and automated pool systems.
Work Environment: This position involves traveling to customer locations, working outdoors, and performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and operating maintenance equipment.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
