Full Job Description

Job Summary:
The Pool Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of residential and/or commercial swimming pools and related equipment. This role ensures pools are safe, clean, properly balanced, and operating efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal.
Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other required treatments.
Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
Identify and report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
Perform minor repairs and coordinate major repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate recommendations to customers.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company procedures.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and inventory of supplies.

Qualifications:

Previous pool maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of pool chemistry, equipment, and water treatment systems.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical pool equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
Experience with commercial pool operations and automated pool systems.

Work Environment: This position involves traveling to customer locations, working outdoors, and performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and operating maintenance equipment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
