Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Thumbtack Review Removal Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and removing inappropriate or misleading reviews from the Thumbtack platform to ensure a fair and trustworthy environment for service providers and clients alike. Your proactive approach will help maintain the integrity of online reputation management, fostering transparency and confidence across our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in the digital reputation space while working with a passionate team committed to excellence.

Duties

Review and analyze customer feedback and reviews posted on Thumbtack to identify violations of platform policies or content that requires removal
Utilize specialized tools and platforms to flag, escalate, or directly remove reviews that violate guidelines or are deemed inappropriate
Investigate review authenticity by examining related account activity, timestamps, and other relevant data points
Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for minimizing false or malicious reviews while protecting genuine customer feedback
Document review removal actions thoroughly, including reasons for removal and supporting evidence
Stay updated on Thumbtack’s review policies, community standards, and evolving best practices in online reputation management
Communicate clearly with team members regarding review status updates and any issues encountered during the removal process

Skills

Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail to assess review content accurately
Excellent written communication skills for documenting actions and collaborating effectively with team members
Familiarity with online review platforms, reputation management tools, or content moderation systems is preferred
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of digital privacy standards and platform-specific policies related to content moderation
Proactive mindset with a commitment to maintaining platform integrity and user trust
