Job Overview
Greetings! Seeking an EPIC super-user BSN, preferably with 2 years dermatology, Mohs, ER or Plastics in MGB affiliated system, to join our private and hard-working Best of Boston team, who have been together 17 years. Candidates who have demonstrated long-term commitment to jobs will be considered. New BSN candidates will only be considered if top of class.

We are seeking a dedicated Mohs RN/BSN to lead and oversee Mohs operations within our dermatology and Mohs surgical clinic. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise in and comprehensive understanding of Mohs and dermatological care. This role involves overseeing other RNs and MAs, and delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Mohs RN lead will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient assessments, supervising procedures, and maintaining high-quality service delivery aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Dermatology/Mohs/ experience preferred. Plastics/ER considered.
Experience with EPIC a must, and MGB Epic strongly preferred.
Lead and supervise RNs and MAs, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team functioning.
Oversee all facets of patient care from preoperative evaluations, Mohs scheduling, post-operative evaluations and follow up care.
Oversee Mohs procedures from vital signs assessment, medication administration (including injections), intraoperative care and post-operative bandaging and discharge instructions.
Epic fluency mandatory.
Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations.
Strong leadership skills, safety and efficiency are top priotities.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to dermatological conditions.
Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills for team management and interdisciplinary collaboration.
