Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic SAT Teacher to inspire and guide students through their college entrance exam journey. In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive SAT preparation classes designed to boost student confidence and improve their scores. Your expertise will help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective test-taking strategies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic futures while working in a vibrant educational environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons focused on SAT content areas, including Math, Evidence-Based Reading, and Writing & Language.
Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
Utilize innovative learning technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, practice tests, and feedback sessions; adjust instruction accordingly.
Provide clear explanations of complex concepts, ensuring students understand key test strategies and content mastery.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices for classroom management and instructional techniques.

Experience

Prior classroom experience teaching SAT preparation or related standardized tests is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in tutoring or teaching Math, Reading, or Writing at various levels, including adult education or special education settings.
Strong knowledge of learning technology platforms used for remote or hybrid instruction.
Proven ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Experience working with students from varied backgrounds, including those requiring additional support or accommodations.
Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques that promote active learning and student success.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
