Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Advisor / Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join our growing advisory team. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in building meaningful client relationships while delivering sophisticated financial planning and investment strategies.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with a strong foundation in financial planning, portfolio management, and wealth strategy. You will play a key role in guiding clients through complex financial decisions, including retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and generational wealth transfer.

Key Objectives

Serve as a trusted advisor and integral member of the firm’s advisory team
Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies
Conduct in-depth financial analysis and deliver actionable recommendations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
Continuously enhance professional knowledge and contribute to team excellence

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized financial advice aligned with the firm’s client-centered philosophy
Develop comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, and risk management strategies
Analyze client financial data (income, expenses, assets, liabilities) to inform recommendations
Construct and maintain financial models, cash flow analyses, and planning projections
Evaluate client risk tolerance and adapt strategies as needs evolve
Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals (CPAs, attorneys) to build holistic plans
Present recommendations and guide clients through implementation
Monitor financial plans and adjust based on market conditions, life events, and regulatory changes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, estate strategies, and financial products
Support business development efforts and deepen existing client relationships

Qualifications & Requirements

Licenses: Series 65 or 66 (Required)
Certifications: CFP® designation (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
4–6+ years of experience in financial planning or advisory services

Strong knowledge of:

Retirement planning
Tax planning strategies
Estate and wealth transfer planning
Trusts and charitable giving strategies
Proficiency in financial planning software, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
High ethical standards and a strong client-first mindset
Experience in client relationship management and business development is a plus
