Job Summary

Western Gold Insurance is one of California's leading independent insurance agencies, helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, strong relationships, and doing what's right for our clients.

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Sales Assistant to support one of our top-producing insurance agents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, delivering outstanding customer service, and being an essential part of a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities

· Manage incoming leads and assign priorities

· Schedule appointments and follow-up calls

· Assist with insurance quotes and applications

· Collect and organize required documents from clients

· Follow up on outstanding information and signatures

· Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting requirements

· Update and maintain client records in our agency management system

· Assist with policy processing from quote through binding

· Monitor open tasks to ensure deadlines are met

· Help coordinate renewals, cross-selling opportunities, and referrals

· Provide exceptional service to clients by phone, email, and text

· Keep the sales pipeline organized so the producer can focus on selling

Experience

· Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude

· Comfortable learning new technology and software

· Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

· Insurance agency experience, Personal Lines and Commercial preferred

· California Property & Casualty License, or willingness to obtain

· Experience with agency management systems such as HawkSoft is a plus

· Experience with carrier systems

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)

· Work hours - 9am-1pm PST
