Full Job Description

Insurance Professionals of Arizona, is seeking applicants for an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join its growing agency in Mesa, AZ. This opportunity is designed for individuals that have 5 years minimum commercial lines experience in an independent insurance agency and is ready to take a serious look at a change to a growing organization that needs a "go getter". We are looking for someone to join our team that is wanting to learn and grow and in turn we will help that person meet their professional goals and build a solid financial future.

This is an in office position. We will consider remote work after 6 months.

Who we are

Insurance Professionals of Arizona was founded in 2008 and is a locally owned and operated independent insurance agency located in Mesa, Arizona. If you’re a self-starter and hard worker, you will be rewarded.

Job Description:

Manage customer needs for a well-established independent insurance agency by performing the following tasks:

· Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner.

· Make necessary contacts both inside and outside of the organization in order to obtain client requested information.

· Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis.

· Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients.

· Communicate clients' needs and binding instructions to carriers.

· Implement and maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents.

· Manage client accounts receivables to ensure timely collection of premiums and payments to carriers.

· Utilize the agency management system in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent account information.

· Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

· 5 years Commercial Lines Account Management Insurance experience required.

· Holds appropriate P&C license.

- Professional designations is a plus, e.g. CPCU, CIC, CISR etc.

Competencies:

· Proven time management skills are necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with a customer service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency as required.

· Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions in order to determine a client's needs. Must be detail oriented with effective follow-up skills.

· Must be highly proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience using customer or contact relationship management software strongly preferred, knowledge of EZ Lynx is a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team-oriented self-starter in a high visibility client environment.

· Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.

· Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company core values, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
