Position Overview: The IP Acquisitions Analyst will play a key role in evaluating and acquiring intellectual property assets, including domain names, trademarks, and social media handles. This position requires excellent research skills, a strong ability to forge relationships with buyers and sellers, and the ability to negotiate and close deals. The ideal candidate will be analytical, resourceful, and have a keen interest in the evolving landscape of intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct due diligence research on intellectual property assets, including assessing ownership, value, and likelihood of successful acquisition.
Strategize and collaborate with clients on the approach to negotiations, including method and tone of seller outreach as well as offer amounts.
Confidentially negotiate and secure the acquisition of IP assets including domain names, trademarks, and social media handles.
Prepare and facilitate the execution of contracts between buyers and sellers.
Collaborate with legal, business, and technical teams to facilitate the transfer of IP asset ownership.
Monitor industry trends and emerging opportunities in the IP space.
Support the development of IP acquisition strategies tailored to specific client needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
1+ years of experience in sales and negotiations.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, legal professionals, and internal teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with a wide range of social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in negotiating and closing deals.
Experience in IP acquisitions, sales, or a related field.
