Are you a talented motion designer who loves sports and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment? Cella is seeking a Sr. Motion Graphics Designer to join the creative team of a premier sports entertainment and gaming brand. In this role, you will partner with creative teams to bring sports fans closer to the games they love through compelling digital video and interactive assets. You will join a structured, well-organized team of 4-5 designers using Airtable to streamline high-volume production. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a major consumer brand, establish an authentic "fan-to-fan" connection, and shape the future of sports marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering directly with copywriters to storyboard and animate high-impact digital videos and playable assets for the acquisition channel.
- Working closely with the Creative Director and Design Director to establish, refine, and execute the creative vision for various projects.
- Developing new concepts, storyboards, and ideas as part of an active test-and-learn marketing agenda.
- Creating acquisition videos that effectively apply direct response best practices alongside core design principles like color, typography, element organization, and usability.
- Becoming an expert on brand identity, strategic marketing goals, and maintaining an authentic connection with the target audience.
- Proactively developing ideas that establish the brand as an innovative early adopter of technologies that bring fans closer to the games they love.
- Staying up-to-date on modern marketing trends, industry best practices, and emerging creative technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a related motion graphics or animation role.
- Experience in high-volume production and highly regulated industries is required. (Prior experience in the gaming or casino industry is helpful but not mandatory).
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Adobe After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. A working knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript is a significant plus.
- Portfolio: A passion for design and animation demonstrated through a relevant, high-quality reel/portfolio submitted with your application.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of direct-response best practices and modern marketing channels (digital, experiential, and social).
- Experience developing creative assets for major B-to-C brands is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and possess a "roll up your sleeves" attitude for both large and small tasks.
- Interests: Being an avid sports fan and fantasy sports enthusiast will help you truly connect with this target audience!
