ENDPOINT TRUCK SERVICE LLC - The name may be new, but the crew is not. Our staff offers over 100 years of combined intermodal transportation experience.

Job Description – COMPANY DRIVER - Class A CDL - Home nightly - INTERMODAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Centrally located near Adelaide / Hwy 70 / Hall Street

Reliable and safety-minded Class A CDL Truck Driver for a full-time, local intermodal position in St. Louis, MO transporting intermodal containers and chassis to regional rail ramps, container yards and local customer locations.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time average 50+ hours weekly
Potential earnings: $60,000 - $85,000 annually
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional weekend work
Home Time: Home Daily - * occasional exceptions to maintain HOS compliance.
Freight Type: Intermodal Container & Chassis, Reefers & ISO tanks – We only handle the equipment, not the contents inside – “no touch freight”

Responsibilities

Safe operation of a CMV in St. Louis MO and surrounding regions
Pick up and drop off intermodal containers at local rail yards, container yards, shippers and consignees including all aspects transportation such as the weighing of loads.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) on tractors and all trailing equipment (IME – Intermodal Equipment) several times daily
Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations. (Motive)
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route delays or equipment issues.
Triniuim MC3 dispatch & Motive ELD app utilized – we will train.

Qualifications & Hiring Criteria

For consideration applicants must meet the following safety and experience requirements:

License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with the hazmat and tank endorsement
We are willing to hire w/o the proper endorsements provided they are obtained within 90 days of employment
“X” – Hazmat tank combo; H – Hazmat only; N – Tank only. (We will require the “X” endorsement w/I 90 days)
Total Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable on the road 5th wheel combination Class A tractor-trailer driving experience. (we do not require OVER the road long-haul experience – we do require ON the road experience).
Intermodal Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of 6 months of verifiable intermodal container/chassis experience.
If you possess 1 full year of on the road intermodal driving experience, we will consider accepting this in lieu of the 2 year requirement
MVR/Driving Record: Good driving record for the prior 3 years including MVR and PSP
no more than 2 minor moving violations
zero at-fault accidents as defined by FMCSA
Major Violations: No major infractions within the prior 5 years
No convictions of drug, alcohol, or other impaired driving
No disqualification driving privileges under Section 383.51 of the FMCSR
No license suspensions for safety related matters (Child support, FTA and other administrative only suspensions reviewed on an individual basis)
Compliance: Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of routine pre-employment screening, including a DOT physical, drug test, FMCSA Clearinghouse check, and a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
