About Big Country Land Partners

Big Country Land Partners is a private investment firm specializing in institutional-quality Texas ranch acquisitions for family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and accredited investors.

Our strategy combines capital preservation, income-producing agricultural assets, long-term land appreciation, and tax-efficient acquisition structures to help investors build multi-generational wealth through ownership of premium Texas ranch land.

We are building more than a ranch investment company—we are creating a long-term private capital platform focused on acquiring exceptional land assets and developing enduring relationships with sophisticated investors.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Investor Relations & Capital Formation to lead fundraising efforts and develop relationships with family offices, high-net-worth individuals, registered investment advisors, wealth managers, and institutional capital partners.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of raising capital for private investments such as real estate, private equity, private credit, agriculture, energy, or other alternative assets and possesses an established network of qualified investors.

This individual will serve as the primary ambassador for Big Country Land Partners, introducing prospective investors to our investment platform and guiding them through the capital-raising process.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the firm's capital formation strategy.
Source and cultivate relationships with single-family offices, multi-family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth investors.
Build relationships with RIAs, private wealth advisors, broker-dealers, CPAs, estate planning attorneys, and tax professionals who serve affluent clients.
Schedule and lead investor meetings alongside senior management.
Manage the investor pipeline using CRM software.
Coordinate investor due diligence and follow-up communications.
Support fundraising campaigns for current and future ranch acquisitions.
Attend family office conferences, private capital events, and industry networking opportunities.
Work closely with legal and compliance professionals to ensure all fundraising activities comply with applicable securities laws.
Develop long-term investor relationships that extend beyond individual transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of investor relations, capital formation, private fundraising, investment banking, private equity, real estate, or alternative investment experience.
Demonstrated success raising capital from family offices and accredited investors.
Existing relationships with family offices, private wealth advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, or institutional allocators.
Strong understanding of private placements and alternative investments.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Highly organized with experience managing investor pipelines and CRM systems.
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following:

Private equity
Commercial real estate

Farmland or timberland investing

Oil and gas
Private credit
Investment banking
Wealth management
Family office advisory

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation tied to successful capital raises. Equity participation or carried interest may be available for exceptional candidates.
