Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer specializing in Java to join our dynamic technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of scalable, robust web applications and microservices architectures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, system design, and application development, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within an Agile environment. You will collaborate across teams to implement innovative features, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This position is integral to advancing our technological capabilities and supporting our mission of building efficient, scalable digital solutions.

Duties

Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications utilizing Java, JavaScript, React Express, and other modern web technologies.
Architect and implement scalable microservices architectures using RESTful APIs and design patterns to ensure system robustness and flexibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for application development.
Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless integration across various systems while adhering to best practices in API security and performance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git to automate testing, deployment, and version control processes.
Optimize system performance by analyzing bottlenecks, applying scalability principles, and leveraging cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
Contribute to system design discussions focusing on security (RBAC), database management (MySQL, SQL), and infrastructure considerations including Linux environments.
Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, codebases, and deployment procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Support ongoing maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement enhancements based on user feedback.

Skills

Extensive experience with Java application development in full-stack environments combined with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React.
Strong understanding of system design for developing scalable systems using microservices architecture principles.
Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration across diverse platforms.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and best practices in source code management.
Experience with database systems including MySQL and SQL for data modeling and query optimization.
Working knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is a plus for deployment automation.
Understanding of security protocols including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to safeguard applications.
Exposure to other programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, VBA, or C is advantageous for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Ability to work effectively in Linux environments with experience in application deployment and system administration.
Familiarity with application development frameworks like.NET or Ruby on Rails enhances versatility within the team.
