Faze Electric is hiring experienced residential electrical rough crews, rough crew leads, and qualified rough electricians for production new construction homes throughout the Phoenix metro area.
This is a W2 piece-rate position for electricians and crews who already know residential rough-in work and can complete homes at a production pace with limited supervision.
This is not a training position and is not an entry-level electrical job. Applicants must have real hands-on residential rough experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will complete residential electrical rough-in work in new construction homes, including:
- Reading residential electrical plans
- Layout of boxes, switch locations, receptacles, lighting, fans, smoke detectors, and low-voltage locations
- Drilling, running, and stapling wire
- Installing boxes, cans, fan boxes, and required supports
- Installing panel cans and service equipment as required by scope
- Running homeruns and branch circuits
- Roughing dedicated circuits for appliances, HVAC equipment, garage circuits, kitchen circuits, laundry, bathrooms, and other required loads
- Installing nail plates and protection where required
- Keeping work clean, organized, and code-compliant
- Following builder plans, options, and community standards
- Communicating job status with dispatch or field leadership
- Correcting rough QC items when needed
- Maintaining a professional presence around builders, inspectors, and other trades
Required Experience
To be considered, you must have experience with most or all of the following:
- Residential new construction rough-in
- Reading residential electrical plans
- Laying out a home correctly
- Drilling and wiring production homes efficiently
- Installing boxes, cans, fan-rated boxes, and panel cans
- Pulling homeruns and branch circuits
- Understanding basic NEC requirements for residential wiring
- Following builder options and plan changes
- Passing rough inspections
- Completing homes at a production pace
- Working with limited supervision

Minimum Requirements
- Proven residential electrical rough-in experience
- Ability to independently rough a new construction home
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Own hand tools, drill, and basic rough-in tools
- Phone for communication, photos, and job documentation
- Eligibility for W2 employment in the United States
- Professional attitude on job sites
- Ability to work full-time

Pay Structure
This is a W2 piece-rate position. You earn based on completed work, while payroll, taxes, and eligible benefits are handled through the company.
Pricing schedules vary by community, plan, and scope. We review the specific pricing structure during the interview process so experienced rough crews can evaluate the opportunity clearly.
Strong rough crews who work cleanly, communicate well, and complete homes efficiently should be able to do well here.

Faze Electric is a residential electrical contractor serving production homebuilders throughout the Phoenix metro area. We are growing and building a team of reliable electricians who take ownership, communicate well, and complete quality work.
We are not hiring trainees for this position. We are looking for experienced rough electricians and rough crews who want steady work, clear expectations, and a long-term place to produce.
