Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) — Clinical Director Track (Part-Time)
Life Centered Therapy | Watertown, Waltham & Remote (Hybrid) | $100–$125/hour
Life Centered Therapy is hiring a licensed clinical psychologist for a part-time role on an explicit Clinical Director succession track. This is designed for a psychologist who wants to do the deepest clinical work of their career, develop the next generation of clinicians, and help shape the future of a practice that is genuinely doing something different in the field.
We are hiring with intention. The right candidate will not just fill a caseload — they will grow into clinical leadership over a defined multi-year track, with compensation, responsibility, and scope expanding alongside their contribution.
WHAT MAKES LIFE CENTERED THERAPY DIFFERENT
At the core of our practice is the LCT Five Step Protocol — a proprietary somatic-experiential method developed over decades of clinical refinement by our founder, Dr. Andrew Hahn.
The Five Step Protocol is not a framework layered onto traditional talk therapy. It is a complete, repeatable, clinically rigorous approach to resolving the unconscious patterns, somatic imprints, and traumatic material that keep clients stuck — particularly the clients who have already been through years of prior therapy without meaningful change.
If you have trained in somatic, experiential, or depth-oriented modalities — IFS, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Hakomi, AEDP, sensorimotor psychotherapy, or related approaches — and have felt the limits of practicing without an integrated protocol, the LCT method will feel like the clinical home you have been looking for. Our clinicians consistently describe this as the work they always wanted to be doing.
You will be trained directly by Dr. Hahn and our senior clinical staff.

WHY OUR CLINICIANS STAY
Most group practices in Massachusetts run on the same model: 28 to 32 sessions per week, a productivity dashboard, and a career built around volume. That model produces burnout and mediocre care.
We have built something different. The work itself is the reason to stay here. You will be part of a team doing therapy that changes lives rather than manages symptoms — with the schedule, support, training, and compensation infrastructure to do it sustainably for decades. You will teach. You will grow. You will be trusted with clinical judgment.
If you want to do clinical work you will be proud of in twenty years, and help build the practice that does it, we should talk.
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
