Full Job Description

Take Root Counseling has opened two positions on their incredible team of highly skilled, attuned and creative therapists who offer specialized treatment to clients of all ages struggling with eating disorders and trauma or who are navigating challenges associated with neurodivergence or identity. This is a full-time, W2, therapist position for clinicians, passionate about helping people transform their lives, who are interested in working with a thriving group practice that fosters clinicians in intentionally and collaboratively. Our culture is deeply respectful of the presence and commitment to lifelong learning that it takes to be an excellent therapist, particularly working with our primary population who come from varying and diverse backgrounds and who require a nuanced and individualized approach to their care.

All of our clinicians have various specialties outside of Eating Disorders as well but this position is best suited for clinicians who are interested in rigorously pursuing the best clinical practices in Eating Disorder treatment and who are invested in working with clients struggling with eating or their bodies.

Responsibilities

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 2 days of in-person work per week in our Cary office.
Clinicians must start with availability 5 days per week but have the option of requesting approval to switch to a 4 day work week upon maintenance of a full time caseload for 6 months.
Upon securing a stable caseload with the help of the company, the employee is responsible for maintaining and conducting a minimum of 20 sessions per week on average. Clinicians can see more clients per week at their discretion and will be paid per clinical hour.
Conduct consultation with prospective clients and schedule intakes with the aid of a company developed, seamless system.
Complete diagnosis, treatment plans, and session notes in EHR with our examples, templates and guidance for fast and efficient documentation.
Communicate company policies to clients via intake paperwork and reinforce them in the first session and as needed.
Take co-pays/ payments in Simple Practice during or immediately after each session.
Communicate and consult with the Owner and clinical supervisor regularly regarding any high-risk cases. Complete safety plans when needed.
Communicate with the billing representative or connect clients to them if assistance is needed with claims or accounts.
There are basic tasks associated with credentialing. Otherwise, we complete credentialing for you.
Maintain licensure required to practice counseling.
Complete two marketing hours per week to support caseload development until you reach full time.
Attend weekly team meetings.

Candidate Requirements

Currently holding an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCMHCA, in North Carolina
Excellent references (x3)
Must have at least one year post-graduate experience (required)
Passion for working with clients who have Eating Disorders
Previous experience working with individuals with eating disorders or similar mental health challenges is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in an outpatient group practice is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay:

$50-$72 per clinical hour

$48,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
