Position Title: Video Editor & Generative Al Specialist
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Creative Director of the Parent Party, the Video Editor & Generative Al Specialist will assist with the development and implementation of projects to further our national efforts to advance educational freedom and independence for parents to choose the school they think is best for their child.
The successful candidate will have experience in how to tell a story using various creative outlets, from video to live performance. They will also have a great attention to detail, willingness to learn, high degree of accuracy, a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask. She or he must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, as necessary.
Reports to: Creative Director
Location: New York City, New York (Manhattan)
Responsibilities (Video Editor & Generative Al Specialist)
● Will assist with capturing and editing audiovisual footage that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action
● Will provide operational, communications and strategic support across the organization supporting political candidates running for office;
● Will work with political candidates, parents, guardians, volunteers and other Members of the Parent Party to promote educational freedom and independence for all families;
● Will build relationships with media and other influencers;
● Will assist the Management Team to develop and implement the Parent Party's strategic planning;
● Will assist with the creation, development, distribution, and the maintenance of all videos distributed by the Parent Party
● Will support the marketing, communications and fundraising activities of the Parent Party
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree in Media, Film, or a related field
● Very high creative and technical proficiency with digital editing and motion graphics tools (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Capcut or similar)
● High creative and technical proficiency with video recording and still photography a big plus (in-depth practical mastery of cameras, lenses, lighting and accessories)
● 2+ Years Experience in Generative AI (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E, Leonardo AI. Runway, Sora and more)
● Skills with digital 2D and 3D animation a big plus (Blender, Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine etc.)
● Experience with DeepFaceLab or similar
● Media literacy as it pertains to Al-Generated Media
● Knowledge of programming and software design fundamentals a big plus
● MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR
Salary: $65,000 per year, based on experience + benefits
