Job Overview

I am personally building out my freight team under Hall Freight Services and looking to onboard experienced freight professionals who can help grow and service customer accounts the right way.

This opportunity is for two types of candidates:

Cradle-to-grave freight brokers who understand the full freight cycle from customer development to delivery.

Logistics account managers / operations support professionals who can help manage accounts, coordinate shipments, communicate with customers and carriers, and support larger freight projects as they grow.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is split-based, and splits may vary depending on experience, role, book of business, responsibilities, and level of support needed.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for freight professionals who understand that customer relationships are built through both sales and strong execution.

Candidates may be responsible for one or more of the following:

Prospecting and developing shipper/customer relationships
Quoting freight opportunities
Negotiating rates with customers and carriers
Building and managing carrier relationships
Booking and coordinating shipments
Tracking loads from pickup through delivery
Communicating with customers, carriers, and internal team members
Providing consistent shipment updates
Managing account details and customer expectations
Supporting larger freight projects and dedicated opportunities
Helping solve service issues professionally when they come up

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas:

Freight brokerage
Cradle-to-grave freight sales
Logistics account management
Carrier sales
Dispatching
Load coordination
Transportation operations
Customer service within logistics

We are especially interested in people who:

Understand how freight moves from start to finish
Communicate professionally and consistently
Stay organized under pressure
Can work independently in a remote environment
Are comfortable in a 1099 split-based structure
Want to be part of building a serious freight office
Care about servicing customers properly, not just booking loads
Are coachable, reliable, and growth-minded

An existing book of business is a plus for broker candidates, but it is not required for strong operational/account management candidates.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

Compensation is based on splits, and splits may vary depending on:

Role and responsibilities
Freight experience
Existing book of business
Account management involvement
Operational workload
Level of support needed
Performance and contribution to the team

Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
